Each November, the legendary Festival of Fisher's Ghost comes alive in Campbelltown. The Festival is steeped in history, dating back to 1956. It is named after Australia's most famous ghost, Frederick Fisher.

Held over 10 days, the Festival features a new-look spectacular twilight Street Parade, the colourful street fair, the prestigious Fisher's Ghost Art Award, the annual Fisher's Ghost Fun Run, open days and a giant carnival with fireworks.

Be part of the legend and enjoy the many events on offer - if you dare! Highlights of the festival include:

Fisher's Ghost Street Fair: There's something for everyone at the Fisher's Ghost Street Fair which is moving to the first Saturday of the Festival. With around 100 stalls selling tasty food, showbags , handmade jewellery , home and lifestyle products, fashion, and lots more.

Fisher's Ghost Street Parade: One of the highlights of the annual Festival of Fisher´s Ghost is the Street Parade, and for the first time it will be starting at a new twilight time of 6.30pm! This is regarded as the official opening of the festival and a fitting way to celebrate the community spirit that the event embodies.
Where:  Along Queen Street - from Broughton Street to Camden Road.

Fisher's Ghost Carnival: Enjoy all the thrills of the carnival, when it returns to Bradbury Oval over the two weekends of the festival. Packed with fun and excitement for the whole family!

Fisher's Gig: Fisher’s Gig has been part of the Festival of Fisher's Ghost celebrations since 1998 and is earning a reputation for launching young music careers. Ideal for all ages.
Where:  Bradbury Park, Cnr The Parkway and Moore-Oxley Bypass, Bradbury
When:   Saturday 4 November 2017; 2pm-9pm

Fisher's Flicks: The whole family is sure to be entertained when he Fisher’s Flicks outdoor cinema launches at Bradbury Park. Gather your friends and family, pack a picnic and head down to catch the double-feature on the big screen!

Fisher's Extreme Showcase: As part of the annual Festival of Fisher's Ghost, Fisher's Extreme Showcase will include an open jam session where participants of all ages are encouraged to attend to showcase their talents in skate, scooter and BMX. Register on the day.

Marsdens Law Group Fisher's Ghost Fun Run: Grab your running shoes – entries are now open for the Fisher’s Ghost Fun Run. Participants can run either the 5-kilometre or 10-kilometre course. The event caters for all age groups, children and families are welcome!
Where: Western Sydney University and TAFE NSW Campuses at Campbelltown. Enter via Narellan Road
When: Sunday 12 November 2017
Cost: Adult- $35, Child Under 16 years- $25, Family (2 adults & 2 children)- $95
