In November each year, Campbelltown City Council invites locals and visitors from across the state to celebrate one of the longest running community festivals in the country – the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost!

Inspired by the region’s most famous ghost story, this year’s festival runs from 1 to 10 November and offers a variety of fun and free activities for the whole family!

Highlights of the festival include:

Fisher’s Ghost Carnival, Bradbury Oval, various times, Friday 1 - Sunday 3 November, Friday 8 - Sunday 10 November  

A festival favourite that won't disappoint! Adrenalin seekers of all ages will love the legendary rides, attractions and sideshows at the carnival. There will also be heaps of free family entertainment daily.
Free entry. Rides, food and sideshow alley costs apply.

Macarthur Night Markets, Bradbury Park, Friday 1 November, 5pm to 9pm

The Macarthur Night Markets will be buzzing as they join forces with the Carnival at Bradbury Park for Friday 1 November only! Head to Bradbury Park for an evening of delicious world cuisine, market stalls and more!

Nerd Con, Campbelltown Civic Hall, Saturday 2 November, 10am to 4pm

Nerd Con is coming! There will be Cosplay judging, merch stalls, food trucks, gaming and more! Come dressed up or just as yourself, either way you don’t want to miss this!

Street Parade, Queen Street, Saturday 2 November, 4pm kick off

Join us for the iconic street parade that will make its way down Queen Street from 4pm. 
Starting from Broughton Street the parade route provides plenty of vantage points to get in on the action.
This year’s theme is We Could be Heroes - so why not come dressed as your favourite hero!

Hero Hub, Koshigaya Park, Saturday 2 November, 5.30pm to 7.30pm

An awesome addition to this year’s festival is the Hero Hub. At the completion of the parade in Koshigaya Park you are invited to come and meet the heroes of the parade, have your photo taken and check out Batman’s real life bat mobile.

Fireworks, Bradbury Park, Saturday 2 and 9 November, 9pm

Don’t miss the spectacular fireworks display that will light up the sky on both Saturday's of the festival. The best vantage points are from Bradbury Park - right near the carnival!

Fisher’s Kids, Campbelltown Arts Centre, Sunday 3 November, 10am to 2pm 

Fisher’s Kids is back and taking over Campbelltown Arts Centre once again for an action-packed four hours of fun and creativity. 

Street Fair, Mawson Park, Saturday 9 November, 10am to 2pm

Mawson Park and surrounds will be buzzing with music, free family friendly entertainment, stalls, food and more. It’s a great day out for the whole family! This year the event will have a slight change in format due to a record breaking attempt by King Kebab House on Queen Street at 2pm!

Marsdens Law Group Fisher’s Ghost Fun Run, Western Sydney University, Sunday 10 November, 8am start

Celebrating its 45th year the Marsdens Law Group Fisher's Ghost fun is the best fun run in the west!! The iconic fitness event is great for serious and social competitors with a 5km or 10km option. With great prizes on offer and a free shirt for all finishers there’s no other run you’d rather do! Grab your running shoes and register for this year’s event. Online entries close Wednesday 6 November.
