Family Space: Light Lab at the MCA

Spark your creativity during your visit to Hiroshi Sugimoto: Time Machine, the Museum of Contemporary Art's major winter exhibition.

Family Space: Light Lab

Families of all ages are invited to dive into the Light Lab, a hands-on studio where you can "paint with photons," inspired by Hiroshi Sugimoto's Opticks photographic series. Experiment with refracted light, create layered compositions and capture your light creations using your phone or camera from home. All other materials are provided.

Light Lab is a free, drop-in activity space, perfect for all ages. It's open every weekend and daily during the term 3 school holidays (30 September – 11 October 2024).
