The XI FIP World Polo Championship is coming to Sydney in October 2017!

The Sydney Polo Club, the oldest polo club in the Southern Hemisphere, is opening its gates to welcome spectators to watch history in the making. The World Polo Championship invites families and supporters from 21 – 29 October 2017.

Nestled in the stunning Hawkesbury region, the event will involve a week long family friendly festival, including 6 days of world-class polo. We invite you to dress up and cheer for the best 8 international teams in the world as they go head to head for the championship. Bring the kids to learn about the unique cultures of Argentina, India, Spain, New Zealand, the United States of America, England and Australia as they take on World Champion Chile. Dress in the colours of your country and come scream for your team!

There is something for everyone with celebrity chefs bringing world-class dining experiences, artists giving talks at the art exhibition, along with a whole range of horse activities including show jumping and even jousting. Big kids can enjoy live music with a drink in hand, while the little kids have fun with all the animals in our animal farm.

Children are not only invited but welcomed, especially to the dedicated family day on the 22 October.

The Sydney Polo Club is 67kms from Sydney CBD (around 1 hour by car) and there is free parking on site. The closest train station is Richmond - from Central station it will take around 1hr and 20 minutes and there will be a shuttle bus from the station to the Club.

If I you are looking for a day without the kids, round up the mums, register for Fashions on the Field and come sip champagne field-side.
