Enjoy the month long Christmas celebration with concerts kicking off in Martin Place and Hyde ParkAlexandriaSurry HillsRushcutters Bay and Rosebery.

Christmas Concert in Martin Place
See the interactive Christmas tree lit by Santa and the Lord Mayor, who’ll arrive on a cycle-drawn sleigh. Hosted by Channel 7’s news anchor Mark Ferguson and Angie Asimus, the concert is packed with entertainment the whole family will love.

Live pre–show entertainment will keep you entertained from 5.45pm. The concert starts at 6.30pm. Enjoy performances from Kate Miller-HeidkeJustice Crew , All Our Exes Live in Texas, Jay Laga’aia, Australia’s most prolific Indigenous female entertainer Christine Anu, and the Australian Girls Choir.

GPO restaurants, bars and pop-up dessert bar will be open for the duration of the concert, offering a variety of food and drink options.

The MLC Centre food court and toilets will be open until 9pm. Only companion animals are permitted. Accessible seating can be reserved by emailing [email protected].

Christmas on the Green, Hyde Park
Kick off Christmas 2017 at the free Christmas concert on the lush lawn of Hyde Park north. It’s a lively and festive night, perfect for families offering great entertainment for young ones and adults alike, with plenty of space to spread out.

Hosted by Jimmy Giggle and featuring Bananas in Pyjamas, The Fairies, The Listies and children’s entertainment legend, Peter Combe. Kids will enjoy craft activities and KIIS 1065.5 invites you to take a photo under mistletoe. Food vendors will include Cantina Movil, Shiso Fine Food Truck, Urban Pasta and gelato by Dolce Bacio.

Pets are permitted. Bicycle parking will be available in Hyde Park.

FREE Christmas Concert in Alexandria
Kick off your festive season at this free family friendly concert. Hosted by Jimmy Giggle and featuring children’s favourites Nay Nay Let’s Play, The Listies, the Australian Girls Choir and Caravana Sun. Kids will enjoy the craft activities, and can play table tennis and giant Jenga with our Christmas elves. Variety will have a fundraising barbecue. You can also enjoy a gelato from Dolce Bacio.

Bicycle parking is available. As this is a professional playing field only, companion animals are permitted.

FREE Christmas Concert in Surry Hills
Hosted by Jimmy Giggle and featuring children’s favourites Justine Clarke, Bananas in Pyjamas, The Listies and Brown Sugar. Kids will enjoy the craft activities and can play table tennis and giant Jenga with our Christmas elves. Enjoy the sausage sizzle and don’t miss a gelato by Dolce Bacio.

Pets are permitted, however the event can become crowded and the evening concludes with fireworks. Bicycle parking will be available on site.

FREE Christmas Concert in Rushcutters Bay
MC Emma Palmer from Play School will introduce you to Bananas in Pyjamas, Splashdance the 7 Sopranos, children’s entertainment legend Peter Combe and Son Veneno. Kids will enjoy the craft activities and can play table tennis and giant Jenga with our Christmas elves. Enjoy the sausage sizzle and don’t miss a gelato by Dolce Bacio. Rushcutters Bay Park kiosk will be open too.

Bicycle parking will be available on site. As this is a professional playing field, only companion animals are permitted

FREE Christmas Concert in Rosebery
MC Jay Laga’aia, will introduce you to Bananas in Pyjamas, Justine Clarke, The Australian Girls Choir and El Orqueston. Kids will enjoy the craft activities and can play table tennis and giant Jenga with our Christmas elves. Enjoy the sausage sizzle and don’t miss a gelato by Dolce Bacio.

Bicycle parking will be available on site. Pets are permitted, however the event can become crowded and be aware the evening will finish with fireworks.

Where:    Turruwul Park, Rosebery
When:     Sunday 10 December 2017; 6.30-8.30pm
Cost:       FREE

All events will have Santa stockings jam-packed with goodies for sale for $5. All proceeds go to our charity partner, Variety – The Children’s Charity. Santa will make a special guest appearance at each concert, and the night will close in a glittering fireworks display.
