The Entertainment Quarter at Moore Park has something for everyone these Summer school holidays. Adults and Kids alike will have fun watching a movie, going bowling or just relaxing at one of the many cafes.

Workshops / Classes

AFTRS: Looking for creative activity for your kids this school holidays? From filmmaking and digital animation to movie make-up, screen music and HSC video skills, The Australian Film Television and Radio School has great short courses starting from 10 December and running throughout January. 

Plaster Funtime: Slime making, sand art, mask decorating and more! Book into one of these workshops during the school holidays. Snack included as well as the mini creation.

Skater HQ: Get your kids off the couch and onto some wheels. These guys offer lessons for Rollerblades, Skateboards, Longboards, Roller Skates, Unicycles, Heelys Shoes, Ripsticks, Scooters, Freeline Skates and Xliders .

Activities

Brickman Cities powered by LEGO® City: The latest creation from Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught, who returns to Sydney during the summer school holidays to reveal his most detailed and advanced exhibition to date. Running from 4 Jan to 10 Feb 2019. Book HERE.

Impact Wall: Open every day through the holidays from 10am-2pm. Kids can play a selection of Virtual Reality Games – Job Simulator, Baby Hands and Art VR.  No pre-booking required.  Special Rate of $12 for 15 minutes or $20 for half an hour.  Suitable for 6yrs+.

Fly Motion: Using multiple bungy cords the traditional trampoline is super boosted to allow a gravity defying ride giving all the adrenaline of bungy jumping but none of the risks.

HOYTS: Treat yourself and the family to a movie at Hoyts or upgrade to their Lux cinemas. 

Monkey Mania: Let the kids run free in this indoor playground. Escape the heat or just let the kids let off some of that high-energy while you enjoy a coffee.

Movin Beds: Running from 30 November until February 2019, you can enjoy an outdoor cinema experience from the comfort of a cosy air bed coupled with blankets and pillows and your dinner delivered straight to you! 

Off-Piste Ski and Snowboard Simulators: Whether you’re making your first run, training, racing or getting a workout, using SkyTech Sports simulators and technology, with HD panoramic screens, the forces and elements you experience are generated to create an exact match of the physics and G-force effect of downhill skiing and snowboarding with incorporated powerful drives and sensors simulating intense vibrations and compression effects.

Playgrounds: EQ homes two playgrounds. One is for smaller kids and one for bigger kids. They are located near the Showring, next to Mokey Mania.

Strike Bowling: Whether it’s living it up on the lanes, pew-ing your pals at laster tag or kicking it with Kendrick in our karaoke room, the kids will play the day away from 10am-5pm for $25! Unlimited activities, every week day of the school holidays.

Waterworld Central: For those of you craving that summer sun and fun outdoor activities, Waterworld Central, Australia’s first mobile water park, is returning to EQ for another summer of fun!  Come splash with us over the school holidays from 28 December until 28 January 2019! (Closed New Year’s Day). 2hr Waterworld Pass – $25 Child. Spectators FREE.
