Eat Your Heart Out At Liverpool’s Biggest Street Festival
- Sat Aug 31 2019
Eating out is always fun. And if the food happens to come from around the globe, and feature some of Sydney’s best food trucks and pop-up shops, we’re IN big time. Happening at the end of August, Liverpool's biggest street festival showcases the best of the west's food, art and culture.
Come on an empty stomach, as this is a day event to – literally – eat your heart out. There’ll be something to please your other senses too: music, art and kids entertainment. The singer, rapper, guitarist and producer Milan Ring will perform, and DJ Fly Waves will get the crowds moving. Melissa Carey's giant heart sculpture Open Heart is returning as the centrepiece of the festival, and street artist Ox King will paint a new colourful mural, inspired by Liverpool's multicultural make-up and the area's Arabic influence.
For your little ones, there will be free face painting, Garden Games and napkin painting workshops with the Little Orange artist group.
When: 31 August, 1-9 pm
Where: Norfolk Serviceway, Liverpool, NSW 2170
