Double Bay Christmas Festival

Celebrate the start of the festive season at the free Double Bay Christmas Festival on Sunday 23 November at Steyne Park.

Get into the spirit with live music from Sheppard, Dami Im, Hugh Sheridan and Jael Wena, plus a buzzing Christmas market, kids’ rides, food, drinks and fireworks by the bay.

Double Bay Christmas Festival 

The countdown to Christmas begins in spectacular style when the Double Bay Christmas Festival transforms Steyne Park into a seaside celebration of music, markets and magic on Sunday 23 November 2025.

This free family event brings together some of Australia’s biggest stars and fun for all ages in one fun-filled day by the harbour.

From midday, the festivities get underway with a buzzing Christmas market curated by Cambridge Markets, filled with artisan gifts, handmade treasures and delicious treats. Parents can browse the stalls while the kids enjoy fun rides and games throughout the afternoon.

The live performances kick off from 3 pm, showcasing homegrown talent, before the main concert begins at 6 pm with sing-along carols, festive anthems and a few surprises! Sing, dance and celebrate with an all-star line-up at the star-studded Christmas Concert featuring Sheppard, Dami Im, Hugh Sheridan and Jael Wena, alongside talented local artists and school groups.

Bring a picnic rug, sip on festive drinks from the fully licensed bar, and tuck into a mouthwatering selection of food from local vendors. As the sun sets, the celebration reaches its grand finale with a dazzling fireworks display.

The Double Bay Christmas Festival is a beloved community tradition to welcome the holiday season in true Sydney style. Families who RSVP to the event on Facebook will go in the draw to win exciting prizes and Christmas gifts from festival sponsors.
