Don Your Birthday Suit And Hit The Ocean At The Sydney Skinny!
Ever wanted to dive into the ocean wearing just a swimming cap and your birthday suit? Well, now is your chance—and it’s for charity!
The Sydney Skinny swim offers two options; both a 900m swim around a diamond shaped course in the calm and sheltered waters of Middle Head in Sydney Harbour National Park or the Novice swim which is 300m in length. It’s important to note that this is not a race—it’s an untimed ocean swim to raise money for the Charlie Teo foundation which funds brain cancer research.
Embrace your sense of adventure in this all-ticketed, spectator-free swim. Only the swim itself is nude, and there’s plenty of fun to be had on the beach afterwards. The Sydney Skinny website advises you to use it to celebrate life and all that is good in the world. They invite you to join them for the country’s most inclusive dip that sheds pretences along with clothes - no matter your shape, size, gender, religion, ethnicity, sexuality, financial status or physical ability. Amen!
*Please note this event is for over 18's only*
