Running across the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the Easter long weekend, little train lovers will jump at the chance to enjoy a 45-minute steam train ride with the Easter Bunny from Thirlmere to Buxton and return at the NSW Rail Museum. 

And while you’re there, why not make a day of it? The NSW Rail Museum Cafe will be open, and self-serve BBQ facilities are also available on a first come, first served basis. You’re also welcome to pack a picnic – just don’t forget a rug!

Tickets for museum entry + Easter Bunny steam train ride are $35 for adults and $12.50 for kids aged 4-17.
