Bondi Beach Comes Alive with Rainbow Celebrations

This season, Bondi Beach transforms into a vibrant playground of inclusivity and fun for families, as it hosts a series of events culminating in the Bondi Beach Party KIDS EDITION, the Rainbow Ride for Pride, and an array of activities in celebration of Mardi Gras.

This festivity, spanning from 17 February to 3 March, is not just a singular occurrence but a spectacular annual tradition that invites families of all makeups to dive into the spirit of Mardi Gras with activities tailored for children of all ages.

Bondi Beach Comes Alive with Rainbow Celebrations For Mardi Gras

At the heart of the celebrations, the Bondi Beach Party KIDS EDITION, happening on 24 February, promises an afternoon brimming with joy. From the beats of DJ Victoria Anthony setting the stage, to the magic of face painting, balloon bending, and hair braiding, the event is a paradise for the young and the young at heart.

Not to be missed is the silent disco, a hula hoopist showing off their mesmerising skills, and a glitter bar that adds sparkle to this already gleaming event.

Adding to the festivities, the Rainbow Ride for Pride offers a unique opportunity on 25 March for families to engage in a meaningful activity. In partnership with Rainbow Families and Peloton, participants can ride Peloton bikes at Bondi Beach, turning their physical efforts into charitable contributions, with $30 donated for every km ridden.
