Australian Reading Hour - Stories that Matter for Kids (Virtual Event)

Celebrate Australian Reading Hour in your classroom with this fun event for kids featuring some of their favourite Australian writers and illustrators, including Adrian Beck, Nicole Hayes, Andrew Joyner, Oliver Phommavanh, Professor Lisa Harvey-Smith, and Michael Wagner.

Come behind the pages and discover how the best books are made, discover the magic of illustration, and learn how to read the stars in the night sky.

Join the line-up of Australian authors and illustrators and be inspired to read more books, more often – and even write your own!

With continuing lockdowns, these FREE Australian Reading Hour celebrations are available for ALL schools and libraries nationally to screen on demand from Monday 13 to Friday 17 September – a perfect end to term three.
