Australia Day Fun In The City of Parramatta

Join the City of Parramatta this Australia Day for a family-fun public holiday. 

Enjoy a morning of live music and family entertainment, yummy breakfast and BBQ food.

The event is held in the beautiful Parramatta Park, a wonderful place to sit, relax, get active, or explore our history. 

Running from 6 am – 12 pm is a perfect opportunity to spend a morning in the park with your family and enjoy the day off. 

What's On

First Nations Workshops and Talks - Honour our incredible 65,000+ year heritage and delve into our First Nations culture.

Historic Vehicle Display - Did you know that from 1952 Parramatta Park hosted Grand Prix car racing for three years? The landmark vehicle display will celebrate this fascinating slice of our City'sCity's history.

Hot Air Balloon Rides - Hot Air Balloon rides are ticketed, and the on-sale date is to be announced.

Citizenship Ceremony - Lord Mayor Donna Davis will announce the 2023 Citizen of the year award recipients.
