Australia Day Concert & Fireworks Blacktown
Get ready to rock your Australia Day in Western Sydney. Blacktown City Council is rolling out one of the biggest celebrations in the region, taking over Rooty Hill with live music, family fun and a spectacular fireworks finale.
This free community event is the perfect way to spend the public holiday, with chart-toppers on stage, entertainment for every age, and plenty of tasty food to fuel the festivities. Grab your picnic blanket, round up your crew and get set for an unforgettable night under the summer sky.
Australia Day Concert & Fireworks in Blacktown
ARIA award-winner Diesel will hit the stage with his iconic blues and rock anthems, including Cry In Shame and Tip Of My Tongue. He’ll be joined by pop legends Taxiride (yes, Get Set will be stuck in your head), Eric Grothe & The Gurus, and The Kamis for an incredible evening of live music.
It’s more than a concert, though. Families can enjoy rides, games, delicious food stalls and a Cricket NSW clinic to keep the kids moving. The licensed area will serve drinks, and the night will wrap up with Western Sydney’s biggest and brightest fireworks show.
Want to kick off the day early? Local families can “Wake Up With The Wildlife” at Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, including breakfast with furry and feathered favourites. Tickets on sale now.
With so much happening, public transport is the way to go, as parking will be limited on the day.
