A Food + Wellness Festival by Donna Hay is Coming to Bondi Pavilion

For the first time Australia’s leading cookbook author Donna Hay is set to bring her recipes and styling focus to life with a three-day festival at Bondi Pavilion.
From 11-13 October, the event line-up includes cook-a-long workshops, morning mat Pilates sessions led by Fluidform founder Kirsten King and a marketplace with fresh eats from Donna Hay’s cookbooks, free bottle-your-own extra virgin olive oil, fresh produce from Kurrawong Organics and ready-to-plant organic seedlings.
There’ll be book signing sessions too, free coffee from Vittoria for a gold coin donation to Two Good, the social enterprise that supports domestic violence survivors and women’s refuges, and a smoothie bar.
Each day the events will culminate with sunset drinks sessions called Well Chilled, where Hay will host on the Pavilion’s sunny balcony and cook up substantial, healthy eats paired with the latest drops from Cloudy Bay wines.
“This three-day event is essentially my approach to food - and how I try to live in this beautiful city of ours. The guys at Kurrawong Organics helped create my vegetable garden at home, and the dishes we’ll be serving up are all about using food to refuel and re-energise. “There’ll be a few treats too, of course. I’m all about balance,” Hay says.
