If you are looking for an organized sports activity that will boost your child's self-confidence, balance, rhythm and physical & mental strengths - Judo is a great activity that combines all this.
The University of New South Wales Judo Club is the largest judo club in Australia with over 250 registered members. They cater for all levels of judoka from absolute beginners to international competitors and Olympians.
They use modern training methods in all their practice sessions to keep your child engaged and help them make the most of their time they have together. From time to time they also run self-defence classes based on judo techniques.
Kids Classes
The club boasts the largest and most successful kids' judo program in Australia. They run children's classes from 3 – 14 years of age where the emphasis is on fun, maximum movement and falling safely. The Kids Judo program have 34 classes a week in six age groups. Kids love coming to their judo classes where they have fun developing their skills and get a good dose of exercise at the same time. This is also a very successful competitive program teaching effective competition judo, having turned out many junior national champions, medalists and international competitors.
