The Y NSW Junior Basketball Academy

The Y NSW has partnered with Junior Basketball Academy (JBA) to deliver high-quality coaching programs and school holiday camps that inspire young athletes and build confidence both on and off the court.

The Junior Basketball Academy is all about helping kids discover their passion for the sport while developing important life skills like teamwork, focus and resilience. Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or looking to sharpen their skills, JBA offers structured, age-appropriate coaching led by experienced instructors who know how to make learning fun.

Kids will work on dribbling, passing, shooting, defence and game strategies, all in a positive, encouraging environment.

School Holiday Basketball Camps

The Junior Basketball Academy’s School Holiday Camps are a slam dunk. Running from 9 am to 3 pm, these multi-day camps are designed for children aged 5 to 14 years and cater to all skill levels, from total beginners to aspiring basketball champs. Kids will enjoy a mix of drills, games and friendly competitions that build skills, teamwork and friendships.

Every session is run by experienced, accredited coaches who specialise in youth basketball development, to keep kids active, engaged and having a blast while learning new techniques. 

Camps start from just $83, making quality coaching accessible for every family. Plus, if you register for any 3 days during the camp season, you will receive a 4th day FREE. Spots fill quickly, so early booking is encouraged.
