The Y NSW Gymnastics
The Y NSW is one of the largest providers of gymnastics training across the NSW with over 4,000 weekly participants, and is a great start to every child's active and healthy lifestyle. The Y NSW offer Gymnastics classes for all levels and ages at Bankstown, Caringbah, Epping, Penrith, St Ives and Great Lakes.
Does your child have energy to burn? Bring them into your local Y Gymnastics arena where they’ll have fun, make friends and learn new skills! Classes cater to all ages from Kindergym to Teen and right up to Adult classes.
Kinder Tots: Kindertots is a 1 hour class designed for children aged 1-3. With the help of parents, grandparents, or carers we teach basic coordination and motor skills to prepare the child for Kindergym.
Kinder Gymnastics: Kindergym is a 1 hour class designed for children aged 4 months – 5 years. The program develops the child through social, emotional, cognitive and physical activities in a safe and structured environment. Children are provided with a wide range of opportunities to help develop confidence and conviction in their coordination.
Kinder Rec: Kinder Rec is a 1 hours class designed for children aged 4-5 years. Basic gymnastic skills are used to develop the child’s moto cognitive and social emotional skills, with a particular focus on gross and fine motor skill development. Kinder Rec is a lead in program for the Colours Gymnastics program.
The Y NSW Ninjas: YMCA Ninjas is a fast-paced program where gymnastics meets martial arts and parkour. It is a skill-based program with the aim of developing confidence, power, balance and discipline in a fun-filled environment.
Recreational Gymnastics: Gymnastics training helps children develop both physically and mentally. We run classes that suit most kids regardless of age or physical prowess. It’s a safe, fun environment where children can learn at their own pace.
Competitive Gymnastics: We’ll give you everything you need to compete at the level that’s right for you. We know what it takes to shine at state, national and international levels.
Rhythmic Gymnastics: Combines elegance of ballet, the aerobics of dance and the coordination of artistic gymnastics. Using balls, hoops and ribbons, this Olympic sport builds gross motor skills, balance and coordination.
Colours Gymnastics: Focused on teaching the fundamental body movements and equipment skills of Gymnastics. Here the children are taught to a programmed assessment system which still revolves around fun.
Stages Classes: Focused on further developing the fundamental body movements and use of equipment skills of Artistic Gymnastics. For children who have completed the colour assessment.
GymFit: Non-assessment class for both boys and girls. It’s about fun, gymnastics, fitness, personal challenges and time to spend with other peers.
