Shopfront Arts Co-op - For Kids With A Passion For Creativity

Arts and creativity led by young people for young people! Shopfront Arts Co-op is Sydney's only cross-art youth-led organisation.

Through bold, ambitious artistic projects, Shopfront has been encouraging kids and teens to express themselves for decades.

Young creatives aged 8-18 years who have a creative passion will love Shopfront Arts Co-op. They provide workshops for young people in drama, film, dance, singing, technical theatre and more, with responsive masterclass workshops being organised each term based on a vote from Young members on what they want to learn about most! Involvement in these workshops will build essential life skills such as imagination, cooperation, self-confidence and communication.

Workshops:

With over 40 years' experience running creative workshops for young people, the experienced team of artist facilitators at Shopfront allow students to express themselves and experience art as valued creators. Workshops are designed for young kids through to young adults, with classes available in Drama, Film, Dance, Singing, Technical Theatre and more for ages 8 - 18!

Accessability

At Shopfront, we believe that nothing should be a barrier between Young People and creating art they are passionate about! All of our classes are accessible and we work with Young People of different support needs, allowing Young People with and without disability to attend Shopfront and experience the joy of creating art! 

Shopfront also provide scholarship positions, for those who experience financial barriers to accessing arts programs for their children. You can contact the friendly staff to discuss this option, so that cost doesn't close the door for any Young People wanting to live out their creative dreams.
