MSTYP is committed to empowering young individuals by encouraging them to think artistically, critically, and creatively. Using theatre as an interpretative lens, students at MSTYP grow into active global citizens with a profound understanding of the world and themselves. The courses are meticulously designed to nurture creativity, boost confidence, and hone public speaking skills. It's a place where lifelong friendships are formed, and professional careers are born.

At MSTYP, learning is an immersive experience. Students in Years 7-12 have the unique opportunity to audition for children’s and youth theatre productions, allowing them to apply their skills on a professional stage. The faculty comprises professional actors, directors, and playwrights, ensuring that each student receives guidance from industry experts. It's a place where passion meets profession, allowing young talents to act, create, and perform in a supportive and dynamic environment.

A Legacy of Excellence

Since its inception in 1969, MSTYP has been a cornerstone of theatre education on the North Shore. From Hornsby to the Northern Beaches, its presence spans across various locations including Asquith, Hornsby, Turramurra, St Ives, Killara, and in-school programs at Wahroonga Adventist School, Northern Beaches Christian School, and OLPS West Pymble. The theatre's commitment to inclusivity is evident through its Accessible Drama classes, specially designed for young individuals living with intellectual disabilities.
