There’s only so much excitement that a trip to the local park can continue to inspire in your little kids. When slides just won't suffice, they might be ready to try one of our handpicked big thrills- adrenaline packed adventures for tiny tots!

These 6 awesome activities all have the ellaslist seal of approval for exciting things to do for little ones who are ready for daring new challenges.

1. Luna Park

There’s never been a little one that hasn’t enjoyed the thrills and spills of Sydney’s Luna Park. Whether you have an extreme daredevil that can bare the heights of the Ferris wheel or the new Volaré Swing, or they’re a little too young and would prefer the children’s modified Whirly Wheel, Luna Park has excitement for kids of all ages and all heights. 

2. Horse Riding at Centennial Park

Riding a pony in one of Sydney’s most gorgeous parklands will sure to be both a thrill and a lasting memory. Tiny tots can be lead around the park for a relaxing trail ride, or maybe they’d prefer a lesson and develop their skills in what could fast become an obsession. ellaslist recently took our kids for a horse ride around Centennial Park and had the best time!.

3. Sky Zone

One of the best places to bounce for tiny tots! Sky Zone has sessions specifically for ‘Little Leapers’ so that they don’t get trampled by the big kids. Join them with your under 5-year-old on weekdays between 10am-1pm, for a one-hour session for just $10 per child! Other activities in the Little Leapers program include group games and activities, colouring in and a toddler play area full of tunnels, tents and toys.

4. TreeTop Adventure Park

This is for the real little daredevil! TreeTop eco-friendly Adventure Park caters to tots as young as 3 for some outdoorsy thrills! A belay system will allow your tot to climb, leap, swing and fly through the tree tops. There are 4 different courses for your preschooler to experience, including 4 of the ever popular flying foxes!

5. Boing Central Trampoline Park

The ‘Tiny Tots’ section at Boing Central will have your little one literally bouncing off the walls! Just imagine over 1000 square metres of trampolines, padding and foam- where your child can safely enjoy an adrenaline packed adventure. They’ll especially love diving into the foam pit!

6. Adventure Playgrounds

Head to a destination park for super slides, fantastic flying foxes and giant swings- you won't just find your average, run-of-the-mill jungle gyms here.
