Froebel Parkville hosts this hands-on Saturday morning as part of German Week Melbourne, where children aged 2 to 5 and their grown-ups can shape dough together at the centre in Parkville.

What to Expect at Pretzel Baking Workshop for Families

Centre chef Carla leads the session. Children and their grown-ups roll, twist and bake their own German pretzels, and they pick up a little German culture along the way. Expect flour on your sleeves, because rolling dough with a toddler is never a tidy job!

The workshop runs from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday 24 October 2026, giving you two full hours to bake together.
