Luna Dark Melbourne 2026: Halloween Fun for Little Monsters at Luna Park!
Calling all little monsters: it's time to get your boo on! Luna Dark Melbourne is creeping back into Luna Park, and its four family-friendly day sessions are made for little ghouls.
Expect puppets, live music, face painting, a costume competition and unlimited rides, with all the spooky fun and none of the scares. These sessions are the most fangtastic way to do family-friendly Halloween in Melbourne.
What's on at The Luna Dark Day Sessions
Showtime comes with a spooky twist at the day sessions. Award-nominated Elk Puppets bring their Halloween-themed show to the Main Stage, where you'll also find the Dark Angels: A Live Halloween Pop Show to get the whole family dancing. Don't forget to check out the Wizz Fizz Best Costume Competition, where little monsters, magical creatures and creepy characters can show off their frightfully fabulous looks for prizes. Not dressed up yet? The park's face painters can turn kids into their favourite creature or Halloween creation on the spot.
Between shows, kids can follow the spooky trail to the Wizz Fizz Pumpkin Patch, where friendly Wizz Fizz Monsters, sweet treats and a gourd-geous photo spot are waiting. Older kids who like a little scare can dare to tackle the Harvest of Horrors maze, with its creepy crop fields and haunted scarecrows, though young children will need a parent or guardian with them. And when everyone needs a break from the sweet treats, the unlimited rides are there to burn off the sugar.
Luna Dark After Dark: Sessions For Older Teens and Adults
Once the little ones are safely tucked into bed, Luna Dark turns terrifying. Six night sessions from 6 pm until midnight bring scare mazes, live entertainment and an 18+ Haunted Spirits Bar, so the grown-ups and brave teens can have their own fright night.
