Dino Days at Melbourne Museum

Roar into your Wednesday with a dino disco, dress-ups and story time at Dino Days in Melbourne Museum!

Dino Days runs every Wednesday from 7 October to 30 December 2026 for children aged three to five. Melbourne Museum hosts each session between 10 am and 2 pm, with dinosaur activities made for the youngest explorers.

What to Expect at Dino Days

Story time among the dinosaur cutouts at Dino Days.

Dino Days gives children a full dinosaur day out, from dino discos and dress-ups to story time and sensory soft play. Your little one can dance at the disco, pull on a dress-up and settle in for a story, then wriggle off to the sensory soft play while you wander between the activities at your own pace. Dinosaurs rule.

The soft play is the part parents will appreciate, because it gives small bodies room to wriggle between activities. The dino disco gets the loudest cheer!

You can choose from 13 Wednesdays, from 7 October to 30 December, so you can fit a visit around your own week. Dino Days is free, but the museum has an online booking link for the program. Booking is not required.
