Check Out This Award-Winning Farm-Themed Playground

The annual Australian Institute of Landscape Awards have just taken place, and taking out top honours for design excellence is one of the best playgrounds in Western Australia: Adventurescape in South Yunderup!
This farm-themed, $3.5 million adventure playground won the Play Spaces category with judges saying it “exhibits strong attention to detail as it successfully embraces the character of the area”.
Old Macdonald Had A Playground
Exciting features of the visually impressive park include fibreglass animal sculptures, tractor tyres built into the ground, spinning disks, a 35-metre flying fox, timber climbing structures, a 6-way swing, a fence maze, a sand pit, a challenging rope climb, a balance beam, and a custom-built 8.5-metre tall windmill climbing frame, according to Mandurah Mail.
Satterley’s Property Group’s Nigel Satterley told the Mandurah Mail: "Every time you arrive at Adventurescape it is always packed with children and families enjoying themselves. It’s wonderful to see. It really has become the heart of the community.” As well as the epic playground, the park is equipped with BBQ facilities, a pavilion, picnic shelters, toilets and even a lake with swans and ducks- all the makings for a full family day out. The trees that were planted during the playground's construction will bring more shade to the area as they grow. Check out the awesome pictures:
