Keep your eyes peeled for amazing exhibitions coming from all over the world. While you may have to pay for some larger exhibitions, the museum always has incredible free exhibits and activities for kids, making the museum a cheap option to keep the kids entertained for a day. 

ellaslist opinion: The museum cafe does fun kids' lunch packs that come in a special box with colouring pencils and activities to keep them busy while you enjoy a (hopefully) quiet coffee.
