Playgrounds in Minnippi Parklands
There are three notable playgrounds in Minnippi Parklands, each one worthy of a day out with the kids - or all three if you've got the time!
Porter's Paddock Park is located at 157 Stanton Road and offers an aviation-themed play area, barbecue facilities, bike path, boat ramp, lagoon, water bubblers, toilets and more. The aviation-themed playground is a huge hit with the kids with its control tower, plane and amphitheatre. The lagoon in the parklands has a flat concreted pathway around it, making it a very picturesque place to learn how to ride a bike.
Meadowlands Picnic Ground Park is located at 184 Stanton Road offering another playground in the parklands with basic play equipment and plenty of picnic and barbecue facilities. The major drawcard of spending time at Meadowlands Picnic Ground Park is the nearby creek, which is basically an outdoor adventurer's dream and will surely ignite plenty of nature-filled activities.
Preston Road Park is another park in the sprawling Minnippi Parklands and is the perfect spot for families looking for a dog off-leash area to bring the pups to.
