School Of Rock The Musical Hits Brisbane 2019

Andrew Lloyd Webber is back, and this time he’s turned hit Jack Black film School of Rock into a fun musical for the whole family. Entertainment Weekly called the stage show “an inspiring jolt of energy, joy and mad skillz!”

Just like the film, the story follows wannabe rock star Dewey Finn as he poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious school to make some extra cash. Watch as he turns a class of straight-A students into a mind-blowing, guitar-shredding rock band.

The musical abilities of the kids in the show are incredible, and sure to inspire your little ones to pick up an electric guitar or drumsticks too (sorry!). 

ellaslist opinion: The show is not recommended for kids under 8, and there is a bit of strong language so make your own decision about whether that’s okay for you.
