This enchanting ballet, based on the Charles Perrault fairy tale has dance fans entering the magical world of Ballet Theatre of Queensland's Sleeping Beauty - all set to the enthralling music of Tchaikovsky.

This production showcases the talents of some of Queensland's finest emerging dancers, and is a ballet for all ages. 

On her 16th birthday, Princess Aurora pricks her finger on the thorn of a rose, falling under a spell cast by the wicked fairy Carabosse. After sleeping for 100 years, Aurora is finally woken by a tender kiss from a handsome prince.

ellaslist opinion: This production has strobe lighting, smoke and fog, so if that's a problem perhaps give this one a miss.
