The Quandamooka people are the First Nation’s People of the Redland and Southern Moreton Bay region. The festival is a tremendous way to teach kids about the land, the cultural significance of natures elements from the point of view of the oldest living civilisation in the world. As well as education, there are loads of activities and entertainment spread out over a three-month calendar of events.
ellaslist opinion: Loads of events happen over on North Stradbroke Island, so this is a great excuse to hop on a barge and have a bit of a family holiday.
