It's back, Brisbane! Lifeline is here again selling a million books over 9 massive days to raise funds for Lifeline. And the upshot for us is that we book lovers can browse the 4.5 kilometres of tables holding up 22 semi-trailer-loads of books!
It's not just books though - there are also DVDs, games, magazines, records, stationery, puzzles, CDs, sheet music and more.
Go as early as you can as the good stuff always sells first.
ellaslist opinion: Take your own bags, or buy some there for $1 apiece, but if you plan on finding a decent haul, take a shopping trolley or pram to store your stash. Books can get really heavy!
Where: Brisbane Convention Centre, South Brisbane
When: 19-28 January 2019 (hours vary so check the website)
Cost: Free to enter; prices of books as marked.
