Ekka - Royal Queensland Show 2023

Get ready to experience the magic of Queensland's biggest and most beloved annual event - the 144th Ekka, Presented by RACQ, is coming to the Brisbane Showgrounds from 12th to 20th August!

Since 1876, the Royal Queensland Show, fondly known as Ekka, has been bridging the gap between city and country, bringing the vibrant spirit of the countryside right to the heart of the city. It's an event cherished by both city dwellers and country folks alike - an absolute must-do every year!

This year's Ekka promises an unforgettable time for everyone. Prepare to be amazed by the impressive agricultural displays, meet thousands of adorable animals, and enjoy an array of free family-friendly shows and exciting fashion parades. Oh, and let's not forget the exhilarating rides and showbags that will leave you smiling from ear to ear!

Savour some of the nation's finest food and wine as you stroll through the showgrounds. And when the sun sets, the magic continues with the EkkaNITES extravaganza, featuring jaw-dropping fireworks that light up the night sky!

There will be some great specials this year, like daily two-for-one rides from 9 am to 10.30 am in the B105 Sideshow Alley and Kids Carnival area. Get ready for an action-packed, thrilling time at Ekka!
