If you’re big on the brunch scene in Hawthorn, you’ll likely have heard of Muharam. This small but perfectly-situated cafe serves up everything from the red velvet pancakes of dreams, crumpets with salted caramel, peanut praline, grilled bananas and and marscapone (absolute drool-fest) and spiced sweetcorn fritters that will knock your brekky-loving socks off. They also offer a humble acai bowl, a better-than-basic granola dish and of course, a trusty smashed avo with grilled halloumi and dukkah. Hungry, yet?

If it’s more of a lunchtime venue you’re looking for, Muharam once again boasts a more than generous offering. A trio of sliders, chicken and brie burger and Vietnamese beef tacos are yours for the taking—and they’re just as delicious as they sound.

And, if that wasn't enough to entice you in for a visit, the cafe are offering their whole menu for just $11 bucks a pop for the rest of 2018, in celebration of their 11th birthday. Yup, just $11 could see you tucking into those red velvet pancakes on a Saturday morning with gusto and a smug sense of financial savviness.
