A Go-To Park For The Whole Family

Timothy Road Reserve is located in a residential area but is conveniently located within 15 minutes walk from Hurstville’s CBD and Hurstville Station. There is also free on-street parking on Timothy Street and Dora Street.

Timothy Road Reserve has been my go-to park for play dates especially when kids outnumber adults. The kids love the 3 types of slides, the mini flying fox, the various ladders and climbing equipment. The swings are perfect for big kids and safe for babies. The see-saw is a great way for the kids to learn to share and they’ve made many friends just by taking a little joy ride. The monkey bars have also kept older kids entertained, while the spinner was a surprising favourite amongst the toddlers. The walking path within the park grounds is also perfect to walk your dog or to ride your bike.

Local Pick

This park is also a favourite amongst the locals. During our last visit, it was a sunny day and we witnessed an outdoor dance class being held just outside the playground while a few families were using the barbecue facilities to have a small party.
