Another one of our favourite free school holiday activities on the Central Coast, Central Coast beaches are some of the best beaches in NSW, and what better way to spend a sunny day than splashing in the waves?
Terrigal Beach is a family favourite with its golden sands and calm waters, ideal for little ones. For a bit more action, head to Avoca Beach where you can try your hand at surfing, paddleboarding, or simply enjoy a beachfront picnic. All in all, visiting Central Coast's beaches is one of our favourite free activities during the school holidays.
18. Get Creative at Gosford Regional Gallery
If your kids are budding artists, the Gosford Regional Gallery is the place to be.
The gallery hosts regular school holiday workshops where kids can unleash their creativity through painting, sculpture, and more. The beautiful Japanese Garden on-site is also a serene spot for a family stroll.
