Situated at the heart of the Parramatta CBD, PHIVE at 5 Parramatta Square is the ultimate community destination.

The world-class facilities are diverse and wide-reaching. Spread across six levels, the $136 million centre boasts a new library, maker spaces, tech labs, and sound studios for learning, innovating, and creating. It also houses community meeting rooms, visitor services, and the new Council Chambers - and a cafe will soon open onsite for all your food and drink needs. 

Perhaps the biggest drawcard for families though, in our opinion, is the incredible new City of Parramatta Library, situated across levels 1 and 2 of PHIVE and bringing a unique and diverse offering to the people of Parramatta and beyond.

The brand-new library at PHIVE Parramatta is the perfect destination for Sydney families.

Complete with more than 65,000 books and a dedicated children's space with an extensive children's book collection, it's a great place to meet friends for a coffee and soak up the atmosphere. 

There are modern parenting facilities next to the children's library, and, perhaps best of all, kids are allowed to eat and drink in the space, so you don't have to leave in order to keep hunger at bay! 

Self-check-out kiosks are inevitably a huge hit with kids, meaning they can be in charge of their book-selection process from start to finish. Storytime runs throughout the school terms and there's also an ever-growing roster of family-friendly events, workshops and activities that run throughout the year.
