Review: Camping At Habitat Noosa

I’m still new to camping. I love the vibe but I’m not all that intrepid, so when I decided to take my kids camping over the winter holidays, I wanted somewhere that was beautiful and peaceful, but that was still close to civilisation (because I am guaranteed to always forget something), and well kitted out with everything we need.
I happened upon Habitat Noosa while on a drive a couple of months ago, and straight away I knew it was my kind of place.
It offers a range of camping options, from glamping tents already set up, to powered and unpowered sites. We chose a premium spot right by the water, which was a great move.
For only a few extra bucks we awoke each morning to the most stunning view of the morning fog rolling in over the water.
But the hero of Habitat Noosa is by far something I have never encountered at a campsite before: a restaurant and bar complete with its own microbrewery! (Their beer is delicious, you’ll be pleased to know, and so is their food.) That was the spot us parents found ourselves in during the late afternoons, while the children ran amok across the very safe and open campground (we could pretty much always see them).
A hit with the kids was the climbing wall that was set up and supervised each morning and afternoon while we were there – as well as the very shallow water, where they all went swimming. Brrrrrrr!
