Pop Of Colour: The MCA Is Bringing Us A Pop-Up Bar!

By: Phoebe Ackland, ellaslist

The Museum of Contemporary Art is bringing us a bright and beautiful pop-up bar so you can get cultured and tipsy at the same time!

The 'Colour Fields' pop-up will make the perfect mum's night out this Summer, a spot where you can enjoy a pop of colour, drink in-hand. Inspired by the Australian art series exhibition Pipilotti Rist: Sip My Ocean, the MCA's collaboration with Scoundrel Projects will see "kaleidoscopic projections and environments" illuminate Circular Quay.

If you head down on a Sunday afternoon, you can enjoy cocktails and a vibrant menu as a whole host of DJs bring the bar to life, or you can head there on Wednesday evenings for workshops including DIY perfume-making, Rosé Appreciation masterclasses....and even an arts and crafts singles night!

The pop-up bar will run from 3 November 2017 to February 2018, and will be open from Wednesday-Sunday, from 4pm daily. The best part? It's free entry. More information here.
