Day trip

Okay, so it’s not as exciting as a weekend away, but a day trip here and there over the Easter break is sure to ward off cries of ‘I’m bored!’ There are plenty of places just outside Brisbane begging to be explored. A day trip to the beach is a no-brainer with our warm autumn days, while a trip to Mt Tamborine offers loads to do for the family with bush walks, Thunderbird Park, the Tree Tops Challenge, glow worm caves, wineries, a brewery and more. Tangalooma and Stradbroke Island promise a fun mini-break, and Springbrook National Park is another great spot for family fun.

Enjoy heritage trails, bushwalking and wineries. There are plenty of parks for the kids to explore, birdwatching, fishing, canoeing and more.
