The two-day festival of Greek culture is said to be the biggest yet as it descends upon Melbourne's historic Greek Precinct in all its blue and white glory for the 31st time this weekend.

Melbourne's largest Greek street party will feature food, music from local and international Greek acts, traditional dances, pop-up bars, live cooking demonstrations, craft stalls, free entertainment, children's rides, and much more across the two days, celebrating the best Greece has to offer.

Your dancing shoes will be needed for the Zorba 'Til You Drop dance competition at 1pm Saturday for the chance to win a return trip to Greece thanks to Touchdown Tours, and the world-record attempt of the Largest Zorba Dance in history at the conclusion of the festival on Sunday at 4pm, in addition to the multitude of Greek musical acts throughout the entire festival.

The Procal Greek Kitchen will be serving up mouthwatering sweet and savoury Mediterranean delicacies and fantastic cooking tips courtesy of guest presenters Mary Valle, Vikki Moursellas, Kathy Tsaples, Jack Sotti, and more. Baklava will abound thanks to the "My Baklava is Better Than Yours" competition, and you can bet there will be more loukomades than you could possibly eat in a two-day timeframe.

Don't forget to check out the Kids' Zone where pint-sized partiers can get their faces painted, grab a balloon animal, watch a magic show, and get stuck into some Hellenic craft activities in amongst the action on the main stages.
