Jetstar has gone and tipped VIETNAM as the next Bali or Thailand!
Don’t be surprised if you hear of thousands of Aussie families choosing South-East Asia as their new budget holiday destination- Jetstar has announced that it will launch direct flights to Ho Chi Minh city in May, with flights going in a sale recently for just $159 one-way!
Good News For Sydney and Melbourne-siders
Jetstar Group CEO Jayne Hrdlicka said: “Vietnam has the potential to become as popular as Bali or Thailand for Australian travellers." Their Boeing 787 Dreamliner will leave Sydney 4 times a week and Melbourne 3 times a week- flying straight to this new location.
Hrdlicka said: “Vietnam is well known for its rich culture, vibrant cities, beaches and cuisine, and travellers can take advantage of the wide range of experiences the region has to offer. We expect our low fares and direct flights will generate even more demand for holidays to Vietnam.”
Melbournians will be the first to get there, with flights departing from 10 May, Sydney following the day after.
