Holy smokes! The world-famous Fire Gardens is blazing its way to Brisbane this September as part of the Brisbane Festival celebrations.

From 11 – 14 September, the City Botanic Gardens will transform into the Fire Gardens, complete with fire pots, bulbs, palettes and a flaming ‘charcoal river’.

This spectacular flame installation is the clever work of French artists Compagnie Carabosse, renowned for lighting up landmarks such as Stonehenge and the Kremlin. Last year it was Melbourne’s turn, and this year it’s ours!

What are the Fire Gardens?

The Fire Gardens are the creation of French artists Compagnie Carabosse, who have been illuminating landmarks across the world for more than 20 years with their fiery displays.

Brisbane’s Fire Gardens will mesmerise festival-goers with spheres of leaping flames, fiery urns, flickering sculptures and roving performers. A stunning soundtrack will accompany you as you weave your way through the fiery maze.

The Fire Gardens are suitable for all ages, sure to spark your kid’s imagination and light up your heart and mind.
