The Delbridge Drive Reserve has just had a huge makeover so we headed over to check it out on one of the most glorious Melbourne winter mornings - spring is coming!

The playground itself is probaby more suited to older kids, with not much in the way of toddler equipment, but plenty of open space to run around in.

The climbing frames are huge, which didn't deter my four-year-old but gave me a few heart-in-my-mouth moments!

We love the natural materials the playground is made from, and the huge logs and stone blocks that serve as seating when not being climbed on by littles.

There is a BBQ and some undercover picnic tables, but it's also a great place to pull up a picnic blanket and soak up the sun.

My four-year-old loved the swings (which swing higher than basically ever swing I've ever been on, which is awesome!), the twisty slide and the huge climbing frame.

I loved how peaceful and pretty it was, and how many native trees and bushes have been planted as part of the upgrade. It's a really lovely park.
