Brisbane❜s Best Ninja Warrior Courses

  • Kids
    Teens

I don't know what on earth we did before ninja warrior courses became a thing, but like a ninja, they snuck into our consciousness and now ninja warrior courses are popping up everywhere!

Which is great because they're a fun activity that keeps the kids active, and teaches them to push themselves and strive to improve. All great skills to have.

If you've got a little ninja warrior in your house, here are our favourite spots to take them.

Urban Xtreme

Urban Xtreme has heaps of fun activities on offer, including bouncing and rock climbing, but their ninja warrior course is a big drawcard. Open to kids from the age of 8 and 130cm tall, you can visit for a once off, or join weekly lessons from an experienced parkour instructor.

Where: 4/370 Nudgee Road, Hendra

Crank Indoor Climbing

Don't let the name fool you - Crank Indoor Climbing has much more to do than that! If your little ninja is 8 or older, they can come and take on the parkour course either as a casual visitor or as part of their term-time Youth Parkour development program. Some of the teachers here are so good, they've even been on the Australian Ninja Warrior TV show.

Crank Indoor Climbing has amazing rock climbing walls and bouldering areas, but the fun doesn’t stop there – they have an awesome Parkour course too! Participants must be 8 years or older but you can enter on a casual pass or sign up to one of their term-time Youth Parkour development programs. The Parkour programs are taught by professional Ninja Warriors, some of whom have been on the Australian Ninja Warrior Tv show!

Where: 2/537 Kessels Road, Macgregor

Bounce X-Park

It's Bounce, but not as you know it. Not satisfied with a thousand trampolines, Bounce have added agility challenges modelled on the Ninja Warrior TV show course. Think floating steps, net walls, beams, trampolines, and a flying fox, and you've got the idea. Make sure your child is 125cm or taller before you get there to avoid disappointment.

Where: 40 Enterprise Place, Tingalpa

Obstacle Obsession

If you want to take your ninja warrior selves outdoors, Obstacle Obsession is the place to be. But you'll need to have the washing machine at the ready if your kids get involved in the mud run! Personal trainers will take your little ninjas from the age of 5 through weekly fun obstacle training, half day camps, and school holiday camps. They also do birthday parties.

Where: 65-71 Karingal Road, Mt Cotton

Brisbane Parkour Association

Back before ninja warriors were thought of by TV execs, the practice was called parkour, and it was done on the street, in your local park...anywhere. Those skills can be taught to kids from the age of 7 across Brisbane through the Brisbane Parkour Association.

Where: Brisbane CBD, Forest Lake, Kangaroo Point (see website for details)

Ninja Central, Orion Springfield

If you've got a mini-ninja, this is the place for you. Kids from the age of 4 can try their skills here, plus there are also more challenging courses for bigger kids. Choose from a free play session or an all day pass - either way you're sure to have a tired but happy ninja at the end.

Where: 1 Main Street, Springfield
