A 100% Vegan Restaurant Has Popped Up In Sydney

  • All Ages

While the name might not sound particularly appetising, Leichardt’s newest plant-based eatery is certainly making mouths water across Sydney. Murdereats has taken up residence in Leichardt’s Crowbar as an inventive (and tasty!) pop-up, but it’s not going to stick around for very long.

The temporary pop-up lunch and dinner venture is somewhat of a contrast to its surroundings. As any Crowbar regular will tell you, the punk, rock and hard-core heavy metal live-music venue is not the sort of place where you’d expect to find environmentally friendly food options. Lucky for their health- and nature-conscious patrons, environmentally friendly fare is the only option on Murdereats menu of plant-based burgers, poutine, salads, nachos, and loaded chips. According to head chef, John Baker, Murdereats menu uses only the highest quality produce from around the world to ensure every meal is as delicious as it sounds.

The Murdereats pop-up won’t stick around forever, so if you’re keen to try one of their sumptuous vegan pulled mushroom burgers, you’d better get in quick!
