In addition to their regular classes for pregnant women and new mums, Yoganic yoga classes are perfect for the whole family. Yogala is a boutique, stripped back studio that runs Yoga for Children 6-12 and Yoga for Teens on Wednesday afternoons. Super Kids Yoga, Rozelle and Glebe
Radha Babicci, the brains behind Super Kids Yoga, has a BA in Early Childhood Education and ensures her yoga classes align with the first five outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework, focusing on a sense of self and connection with others to support children's wellbeing. This isn't yoga as you know it! From storytelling and making letters of the alphabet with their bodies, Super Kids Yoga will get the kids excited to stretch, move and challenge themselves, physically and mentally. The After School Kids Yoga Club is for kids aged 4 - 8 years old, and runs on Thursdays from 3.30-4.30pm in Rozelle. The Glebe class runs on Sundays from 2 - 3pm and is aimed at children 3 - 6 years old.
Marrickville Yoga Centre
If your little one isn't so keen on yoga but you think it could be good for them, Yoga For Kids at Marrickville Yoga Centre might be just the solution. Learning yoga not just through physical practice, but with stories and games, the kids won't even realise they're doing it! Conveniently scheduled on Saturday afternoons, you can book a casual class or eight-week term, or better yet - sign your kid up with a sibling, cousin or friend for a special 2-for-1 offer.
Darling Quarter Kids Yoga
The kids will feel like they're playing Twister at this FREE yoga program in Darling Quarter! Primary school kids can join in on the fun in the school holidays, and if you'd like to nama-stay, parents and sitters are welcome to join in! If it's a rainy day, no stress - the classes will move indoors at the Monkey Baa Theatre foyer.
