1. Melt Brothers

Using only the freshest ingredients, Melt Brothers offers a variety of mouth-watering cheesy melts all served on fresh artisan sourdough including gluten-free and vegan options.

The menu ranges from light bites including avo toast and the Holy Cheezus; ham off the bone, tomato chutney, mozzarella and aged cheddar, to gems like the M.C Cheesy—macaroni and cheese, maple bacon, BBQ sauce, mozzarella and aged cheddar. And the best part? Nothing on the menu is over a tenner!

2. Bird’s Nest

Bringing the Yakitori concept from its native Japan to Australia, Bird's Nest Restaurant sources high-quality local and international ingredients to create a menu that is positively bursting with flavour and one of our favourite cheap eats in Brisbane!

Their Toowong store boasts a Chicken Madness deal of three pieces of karaage fried chicken, three chicken wings, chicken katsu, and chips for only $9.90 every Monday—making it the perfect way to kickstart your week!

3. Banh Mi Factory

Serving up what's rumoured to be the best Vietnamese in Brissy, Banh Mi Factory is well worth a visit.

From delicious, aromatic pho in a slow-cooked stock to noodle salads, snacks and of course, the infamous banh mis themselves—everything is authentically flavoured and fresh as hell. The banh mis will set you back just $9.50, and you can get a pack of two rice paper rolls for $6.50.

4. Harajuku Gyoza

One of the best ways to eat delicious food on a budget is to really pay attention to a restaurant's weekly offers—and Harajuku Gyoza really delivers the goods. You can get two-for-one gyoza plates on Tuesdays and 50-cent wings on Wednesdays—which equals mouthwatering dishes at a fraction of their usual cost. Dig in!

5. Fritzenberger

Ok, so you know what we were just saying about special deals? Fritzenberger is another hotbed of money-saving offers and happens to also be the purveyor of some of the juiciest burgers in town.

Head to your local Fritzenberger for $10 burgers on a Monday, two-for-one burgers on Tuesdays and last but not least, 50-cent wings on Wednesdays. What a steal!

6. Little Greek Taverna

Another awesome spot for cheap eats in Brisbane that's authentic and flavourful, Little Greek Taverna is home to delicious Greek dishes at affordable prices. The pitas come in at a reasonable $9.50 and Petros Meze Platter can serve up to 4 people for just $25—perfect for a picnic lunch or dinner! Think dips, pita, olives, feta and Macedonian peppers. Yum.

7. Red Hook

Serving up Brooklyn-inspired cheap eats in Brisbane, Red Hook is bursting with energy, fun and money-saving offers on their mouthwatering menu.

Fancy dinner for just 10 bucks? You can grab a Brooklyn cheeseburger, Grandmaster Flash burger, or NYC dog for a tenner on Tuesdays, $1 wings on Wednesdays and enjoy two Brooklyn cheeseburgers and two fries for $30 on Thursdays. With deals like these, why go anywhere else!

We love nothing more than a flavour-packed bowl of ramen, and Hai Hai Ramen is renowned across Brisbane for its quality and price. 

You can get $10 bowls of ramen on Tuesdays from 5-6 pm, and all sides are just $5 between 5-6.30 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

9. Govindas

A veteran of all-things vegetarian, Govindas is a one-stop shop for flavourful, fresh, veggie-packed dishes. Grab a plate of mixed vegetable curry and rice for $10 or lasagne for just $9. Try it once, and we guarantee you'll be back again in no time.

10. No No's 

For authentic, homestyle Lebanese dishes, No No's is the place to go.

Kebabs come in at under a tenner, including the drool-worthy Shish Kebab; which boasts marinated eye fillet lamb pieces on pita bread with hummus, tabouli, salad and tahini sauce. If you have a hankering for something sweet, grab a Baklava, Date Roll or piece of Honey Cake for just $2. Race you there!
