Parent Poppin - Parent❜s Hangout Space (0 - 3 year olds)

Parent Poppin is a drop-in space for parents and bubs with a focus on parents’ well-being. They help parents create time and space for themselves to recharge. They also team up with experts to provide practical advice to help navigating through parenthood a bit easier. Their space is best suited for parents and bubs aged 0-3 years and it is filled with toys, comfy seats and relaxing music

Cafe: 
Parent Poppin is not your traditional cafe. It is a space for parents and bubs to meet, share experiences, have a hot drink and chill.  Coffees, teas and biscuits are included with entry. Snacks can be purchased at an additional cost. See the website for details. 

Parenting Classes:
Classes are capped at 10 participants to allow parents to participate and ask questions. Parents (or carers) who co-share parenting responsibilities are encouraged to attend together. You can book a spot for your partner in the ‘add-on’ section at check-out. Currently all parenting and expectant parent classes are delivered via video conference. 

Opening hours: Tuesday - Friday 10am-5pm.(re-opening from 2 June 2020)
- Tuesdays - Thursdays are dedicated to families with babies. (older siblings are welcomed)
- Fridays will be dedicated to mums and dads with babies or toddlers.

Parking: Barwon Park Road Car Park at Sydney Park offers 2 hours free parking. Parent Poppin is also easily accessed by foot from parts of Erskineville, Alexandria and Newtown, or by public transport.

Cost: Drop-in cost is $10 per hour for a parent and a baby, or currently on special at $10/first hour then $5/hr there after. 

Facilities: Parent Poppin are equipped with both high and floor seats so mums and dads can sit on the couch to feed, or put their babies down to play while they sip a coffee. The space is deliberately created for quieter activities like mirrors, quite toys, books and crafts so parents could relax. You are welcome to bring friends or just come alone.

Prams: The space is small and can only accommodate folded prams. If you park or live nearby, please leave your pram in the car or at home. Of course if your baby is sleeping then prams are welcome inside.

Register your details prior to arrival to save time when you arrive. You will not be locked in for a particular time and no advance payment is required.
