Transport Heritage Expo 2019

Sydney's transport history comes to life this June long weekend with heritage train, bus and boat rides, tours of historic buildings and more! Highlights include:

The Great Train Race: Travel behind your choice of Australia's largest operating steam locomotive 6029, or recently restored steam locomotive 3265, as they race through Sydney's inner-west to Strathfield and return. 

Steam Boat Rides: Enjoy a steam powered 40-minute cruise around Sydney Harbour on the 117-year-old Lady Hopetoun, or indulge in an exclusive 1.5 hour cruise aboard Steam Yacht Ena. 

Heritage Train Rides: For a truly nostalgic experience, step on board a heritage steam train, railmotor or electric train.

Vintage Bus Rides: Enjoy Sydney’s city sights on board a vintage double-decker bus for a 20-minute round trip of the CBD. These rides are free but donations are welcomed.
