Zoo on the Move at Vaucluse House
Imagine if the zoo had moved to Vaucluse House this summer! How to Move a Zoo exhibition
Join the parade of animals in How to Move a Zoo, a new interactive family exhibition at the Museum of Sydney. Meet the animals who, in 1916, made an extraordinary journey through the city and across Sydney Harbour to their new home at Taronga Zoological Park. Enjoy dynamic digital experiences, incredible stories and fun craft. Suitable for kids aged 3-10 years.

Come on an adventure through time at the Hyde Park Barracks with a new tailored audio guide and activity trail for kids. Hear the fascinating story of the Barracks as told by some of the convicts and immigrants who lived there, plus listen for clues and complete some fun activities as you move through the museum – spot the rats, draw your own convict tattoo and more! Suitable for kids aged 5-12 years.

Healing land, remembering Country at Elizabeth Farm
Experience Healing land, remembering Country, a powerful artwork by Kuku Yalanji artist Tony Albert, at Elizabeth Farm. Participate in a ‘memory exchange’ activity – write a message on paper embedded with local plant seeds to regenerate in the soil. Afterwards, explore the historic house and gardens.
